I recently stayed at a lovely apartment in Funchal and had a great experience. The location was perfect, with easy access to the old town and all amenities nearby. The apartment was clean, functional, and had a nice kitchen and living room. The bathroom was well-equipped with a shower and all linen provided. The host, Hugo, was fantastic and made the check-in process smooth. Despite being located on a road, the apartment was quiet at night and I had no trouble sleeping. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this apartment.

Noisy mornings due to road location.

I recently stayed at Fortaleza Do Pico for a few days while visiting Funchal. Hugo, the host, was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The apartment had plenty of cupboard space and a great view of Funchal from Fortaleza do Pico. It's centrally located and within walking distance to the city center. The shower has excellent water pressure and hot water, and the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking. it's a clean, spacious, and warm apartment that provided a comfortable base for our activities.

I highly recommend this hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at Fortaleza Do Pico! Hugo, the host, was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. the apartment was spacious and had plenty of cupboard space. It is conveniently located just around the corner from Fortaleza do Pico, which offers stunning views of the city. While the road leading to the apartment is uphill and steep, it didn't pose a problem for me. it added to the charm of the location. the apartment served as a great base for exploring the city center, and Hugo even provided me with recommendations for the best local restaurants and cafes. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would choose this apartment again if I return to Madeira. Cons: Nothing, it is perfect! 😊.

The apartment at Fortaleza Do Pico had everything we needed for a comfortable stay – a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave and fridge, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, and even a washing machine. It definitely felt like a home away from home.

Personally, I found the bidet in the bathroom to be unnecessary. But hey, different strokes for different folks!

The apartment is equipped with everything you need - comfortable bed, nice bathroom, equipped kitchen, washing machine, WiFi. It is perfectly clean and there is even coffee available. the owners are super nice people.

Felt right at home, no complaints at all.

Dieses Hotel war perfekt für uns, da wir auf unserem Weg von Frankfurt nach Lypek über Berlin waren und eine Übernachtung in der Nähe der Autobahn brauchten. Die Lage des Hotels war ideal, um sich vor einem frühen Flug auszuruhen.
